How Salon Scheduling Solutions got started

Salon Scheduling Solutions was created in 2009 by an accomplished salon owner Cheri, and her business partner Waylon, a former marine and a successful local business owner.  They wanted to make a great salon all-in-one website and scheduling program for Cheri and the entire country.

In 1993, Cheri opened up a salon in Washington, Illinois. It was a smaller salon with three tanning beds and two nail techs. Throughout the years, she has upgraded locations and added many services including hair, massages, and much more. Cheri knew she needed something that would bring more organization to the salon, create a solution to missed phone calls and missed appointments, and prevent simple scheduling errors. She needed an all-in-one program that she could change as often as needed, use to store all of her notes and formulas in one convenient place, and a way to create online specials to entice her clients to return to the website frequently.

Waylon, on the other hand, was working behind the scenes to do exactly that. After serving 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and 6 years in the Air National Guard, he began creating websites that fullfilled Cheri's vision, while using as many free and low cost features as possible. Together they have created the perfect solution that truly speaks to salon and spa owners, while offering an all-in-one low cost program to meet your every need!
